Connor felt himself get red for a split second before clearing his throats, “Those are confidential, right?” All he needed was Murphy finding out his stupid kiddie prayers. “An’, thanks.” He mused after a moment, giving the angel a smile.
Gabriel laughed outright “You’re secrets are safe with me, man, promise” he shook his head smiling as he clapped the other on the arm, “Everyone’s gotta have someone listening to them, eh?” He arched a brow “So, what you and ol’ Murphy up to these days? Knocking off anymore mobsters?”
Connor grinned at him before nodding, shrugging slightly. Wait- so angels didn’t mind what he and Murphy did? Or, at least, this one didn’t? Righteous. Made him feel a little less bad. “Aye, we are. Fer tha’ most part. Gotta’ keep it up an’ all.”
The Archangel laughed at Connor’s surprise, “No need to be the surprised that I don’t see what you guys are doing as wrong, I’m a soldier - warrior of God, if anything you’re making our jobs easier” he snorted.
He grinned, “Good. I’d hate ta’ make Gabriel disappointed in me.” He mused, smirking slightly.
“I will tell you right now, that is really hard to do. I have done some pretty messed up crap, so way I see it is I’ve got no room to judge people, plus it’s nice to see those mod assholes get what they deserve” he smirks clapping Connor on the shoulder.
“Thanks man, I try.” He grinned lightly, patting the angel back. This was still surreal. Talking to Gabriel, the archangel- his favorite angel- like they were just two normal people meeting on the streets.
“I’ve decided that I like you, you’re good people and trust me you or Murphy ever need help with anything you know how to get my attention” he smirked, he ment it, there were few people that he would drop everything and help, but the Irish twins had worked their way into being classed among those people.
“Thanks,” He mused softly, knowing it meant a lot for Gabriel to say that. And it meant a lot to him too. It felt good knowing an angel was on your side. Safer. “I appreciate it.”
“Alright enough of the chick flick moment, eh?” Gabriel laughed, “What would Murphy think?” the Archangel’s grin widened.
“He gets more chick flick than me have tha’ time, so he can’t talk.” Connor laughed lightly, “He’s a big baby.”
“Oh that’s not nice to say about your brother!” he was trying to be serious, but he couldn’t help but laugh. “Eh, a few of my brothers are the same - mostly the younger angels. My older brothers are just douchebags”

“Really?” He asked curiously, head cocked to the side. “Why’s tha’? I always assumed all angels were, ye’ know… nice an’ shit.”
